Terms and Conditions
The rules that apply when you use our website and services · Effective August 31, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of cumberlandbailbonds.com (the "Site"), operated by Cumberland Bail Bonding ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site, calling us, submitting a form, or making a payment through the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who we are
Cumberland Bail Bonding is a licensed Tennessee bail bonding company serving eighteen counties across East and Middle Tennessee. We have served Tennessee families since 1991. Our home office is located at 1401 Spring Place Rd SE, Cleveland, TN 37311. A full list of the counties we serve is on our Locations page.
3. The Site is informational
The content on this Site, including county, jail, and courthouse information, is provided for general information only. It is not legal advice, and using this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are bail bonding agents, not attorneys. For legal advice about a criminal case, speak with a licensed attorney. Jail procedures, court schedules, and contact details can change without notice, so confirm time-sensitive details with the facility or court directly.
4. Bail bond services
Bail bond services are provided under a separate written bail bond agreement, indemnity agreement, and related documents signed at the time of service. Those signed documents, not this Site, govern the bond, including the premium, any fees, collateral, and the obligations of the defendant and any co-signers. Premiums and fees are charged as permitted by Tennessee law. Nothing on this Site obligates us to post any bond; every bond is subject to approval. Co-signing a bail bond is a serious financial obligation, and we encourage you to ask questions before signing anything.
5. Payments
Online payments are processed by Square, a third-party payment processor, and are subject to Square's own terms and privacy policy. We do not see or store your full card number. Payments made toward a bond are applied under the terms of your signed bail bond agreement. If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us first so we can resolve it quickly.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to do anything unlawful, to submit false information on our forms, to attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, or to scrape or republish its content in bulk.
7. Our content
The text, design, logos, and graphics on this Site belong to Cumberland Bail Bonding or are used with permission. You may print or save pages for personal use. Any other use requires our written permission.
8. Third-party links and services
The Site links to and embeds third-party services such as Square, Google Maps, and social media platforms. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cumberland Bail Bonding is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under your signed bail bond agreement or under law that cannot be waived.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute arising from the Site will be handled in the state courts located in Bradley County, Tennessee, unless your signed bail bond agreement says otherwise.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information · Effective August 31, 2026
1. Our commitment
Bail situations are stressful and personal. Cumberland Bail Bonding ("we," "us," "our") treats every call, form, and payment with discretion. This policy explains what information we collect through cumberlandbailbonds.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information you give us
When you call us, submit a form, or start a bail application, you may provide information such as:
- Your name, phone number, email, and address
- Information about the defendant, the charges, and the jail or court involved
- Employment, reference, and financial information needed to underwrite a bond
We collect this information because it is necessary to post a bond and meet our legal obligations as a licensed bonding company. Please only submit information that is accurate and that you are authorized to share.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We use this information to keep the Site secure and working properly.
4. How we use your information
- To respond to your calls and messages and to post and manage bail bonds
- To process payments and keep required financial records
- To meet licensing, court, insurance, and other legal requirements
- To maintain and improve the Site
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to do our job:
- Courts, clerks, jails, and law enforcement, as required to post and maintain a bond
- Our surety and insurance partners involved in underwriting the bond
- Service providers who work for us, such as Square for payment processing and our website hosting provider
- When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our legal rights
6. Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your bond or your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. We do not use your number for unrelated marketing.
7. Third-party services
The Site uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies, including Square (payments), Google (maps and fonts), and social media platforms we link to. Information you provide directly to those services, such as card details entered on Square's checkout page, is governed by their policies.
8. How long we keep information
We keep bond-related records for as long as Tennessee law and our licensing and insurance requirements demand, and general inquiries only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and online payments are handled by Square over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please call us if you prefer to share sensitive details by phone.
10. Minors
The Site is intended for adults. Co-signers on a bail bond must be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through the Site.
11. Your choices
You may contact us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep. We will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision.

Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to a website everyone can use · Effective August 31, 2026
Our commitment
Cumberland Bail Bonding wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. When someone needs bail help, the last thing they should fight with is a website.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we review the Site against that standard as we update it.
What we have built in
- Text and background color combinations tested to meet WCAG AA contrast requirements
- Full keyboard access, including a skip link, visible focus outlines, and menus that open on focus and close with the Escape key
- A layout that works on screens from small phones to large desktops without sideways scrolling
- Reduced motion for visitors whose devices request it
- Descriptive headings, link text, and alternative text for meaningful images
- Pages that print cleanly for anyone who prefers paper
Known limitations
Some parts of the experience rely on third-party services we do not control, including the Square payment checkout and embedded Google Maps. Some downloadable court forms are scanned documents that may not read well with a screen reader. If any of these block you, call us and we will handle it with you by phone.
The phone always works
Everything on this Site can also be done by phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call us and an agent will take your information, answer questions, and arrange payment without you needing the website at all.
Tell us if something is not working
If you find a page or feature that is hard to use with assistive technology, please call us and tell us the page, the problem, and the software or device you were using. We will work to fix it.
